1 c. butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs (yolks only)
1 tsp vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350°. In a mixing bowl mix butter, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients; flour, baking powder, and baking soda. You should be able to form a ball of dough.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Flatten balls to 1/4-inch thick with the bottom of the glass dipped in sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350° or until edges are lightly browned.
