How deep are the two baskets on the Entryway Table?

The top basket is 3 inches deep, for keys, mail, glasses and gloves; the bottom basket is 6 inches deep for scarves, hats or seasonal things. The table is 24 inches wide, 14 deep and 30 tall, measured on the outside.

Does it come assembled?

Yes. The frame and both baskets are built as one piece, and it arrives ready to stand by the door.

Will it work as a console table behind a couch?

It is 30 inches tall and 14 inches deep, so it stands behind a couch or along a hallway wall as well as by the door.

Are the measurements inside or outside?

Every measurement we publish is the outside of the basket, measured across the top where it is widest.

How long does shipping take?

Standard free shipping arrives in 3 to 5 weekdays. Finished baskets in the Shipping Barn are sent out right away. Rush delivery is delivered in 2 to 4 weekdays. Special orders and custom sizes take 3 to 4 extra weeks before shipping.

About This Basket

Handcrafted Quality: Two rattan reed baskets on wood bottoms set into a solid wood frame, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, and signed by the weaver who made it. It arrives built by the family; there is nothing to put together.
The Console Size: 24 inches wide, 14 deep and 30 tall, the height of a hall table: it stands inside the front door, along a hallway, behind a sofa, or beside a bed.
Two Depths On Purpose: The top basket is 3 inches deep, so keys, mail and glasses land in it and stay put without hiding; the bottom basket is 6 inches deep for scarves, gloves, dog leashes or the season's decor.
Measures: 24" x 14" x 30" tall. Contents not included.
Three Trim Colors: Choose Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green. The color is woven in as dyed reed, not painted on.
