Microwave the pad for 3 minutes, set it in the bottom of the basket, lay the liner over it, add the bread and put the cover on top. The pad holds the heat and keeps rolls warm for up to 90 minutes, long enough for a Thanksgiving table and seconds. It is a cloth pad filled with sand, and it can be reheated thousands of times.

Only the pad goes in the microwave. The basket is woven wood and stays on the table; the pad comes out warm and goes into the basket.

The Small is 10 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and holds 2 to 4 rolls or biscuits. The Medium is 13 1/2 x 6 1/2 and holds 6 to 8 rolls or a sliced loaf. The Large is 16 1/2 x 7 1/2 and holds 10 to 12 rolls, a French loaf or a full sourdough boule. Each size is 4 1/4 inches tall, measured outside. If you usually serve five or more, choose the Medium; if you bake full loaves, the Large.

Yes. Both are pre-shrunk cotton broadcloth, machine washable and dryable. The cover has an elastic edge that hugs the rim, so it lifts off and goes back on with one hand. The colors are on each page.
