How long does shipping take?

Standard free shipping takes 3-5 weekdays for delivery. In-stock baskets ship immediately. Rush delivery is available for $8.95 (2-4 weekdays). Special orders and custom sizes need 3-4 additional weeks before shipping.

We are not Amish ourselves, but we have been close friends with the local Amish community for over 30 years. We operate this marketplace to help four Amish families share their handcrafted baskets with you and preserve this traditional weaving craft.

How durable are these baskets?

Extremely durable. Each basket is built with a solid birch wood bottom, hardwood poplar posts, and handwoven wickering reed. They come with a lifetime guarantee. If anything ever goes wrong, we will repair or replace it.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes! Enter your message in the "Order Notes or Gift Message" box during checkout. No invoices or pricing information is included in the shipped box. Receipts go only to the buyer's email.

Do you have other colors or finishes?

Our Amish families use one standard stain color. Unfinished baskets are also available if you would like to apply your own Minwax stain. Instructions and samples come with every unfinished order.

Can I personalize my basket?

Yes! You can add a custom engraved brass plate with up to two lines of personalized text. We also offer optional basket liners in classic and pastel colors, and protective feet.

What is your return policy?

About This Basket

Stack one pie on top of another and transport them in style with this handmade square double pie carrier. This sturdy two tier vintage pie keeper basket comes complete with a wooden interior shelf and a picnic style wooden lid. This woven double pie carrier basket measures over 11" inside so it can easily accommodate up to a 10 1/2” pie pan in the top compartment and up to a 10" pie pan in the bottom compartment. Each roomy compartment measures 3" tall. The leather handles allow you to conveniently keep your homemade creations secure while you transport them anywhere, from potlucks to picnics. This vintage pie keeper basket can also be used as a handy little picnic basket. Hand woven Amish Baskets are signed by the Amish Crafter.
