This Caramel Tapioca has a comforting sweetness and a gentle maple flavor that families enjoy at gatherings or quiet evenings. Rebecca said it has been served many times over the years, sometimes plain and sometimes with small additions for fun, and she was glad to pass it along for others to enjoy.

Rebecca said that the unexpected visit from their friends reminded her of the simple puddings often served at gatherings and fellowships. As she talked about the dessert their neighbor brought over, she thought of a recipe that has been dear to her since she first married. David’s Grandmother, Mrs. Marion Yoder, shared it with her as a keepsake for starting a home of her own.
