This custom sewn liner for our oval Farmhouse basket is completely handmade on an old-fashioned treadle sewing machine and even comes with an inside tag with the name of the Amish woman who sews the liner. This washable liner will keep your basket clean, protected, and looking like new for years to come. This cloth liner comes with a durable sewn-in elastic top to keep the liner securely in place during use. Crafted from durable, easy-care, pre-shrunk cotton broadcloth. (Basket Sold Separately)
Each basket’s solid wood bottom is the foundation of its lasting durability.
To guarantee strength that will not warp, even after many years, every bottom is cut from furniture-grade, ½-inch layered birch. It’s then carefully secured with solid brass nails, creating a base that’s as reliable as it is beautiful.
