- Handcrafted Quality: Ten of our jam gift baskets: the 9 x 6 inch farmhouse basket, 3 inches tall, rattan reed handwoven over a wood bottom with a wrapped hardwood rim, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, each signed by the weaver who made it.
- Thirty Jars Of Homemade Amish Jam: Each basket holds three full-size 10-ounce jars cooked in small batches by an Amish cook in the same community: fruit, sugar, fruit juice, pectin and vanilla, nothing else. The flavors follow the harvest and change with the season. The apple butter has cinnamon in it.
- Ten Gifts In One Box: A finished gift for each client, each teacher or each family on the list, packed with the jars in wood shavings and shipped to one address. To send them to ten addresses, order the single jam gift basket ten times.
- The Single Gift: It is the same gift sold one at a time as the Amish Jam Gift Basket, and once the jars are empty the basket goes to work on the kitchen table, the desk or the nightstand.
- Measures: 10 baskets, each 9" x 6" x 3" tall, with three 10 oz jars in each.
- Optional Extras: A set of ten engraved solid brass plates and a set of ten corrugated boxes to wrap them in are each optional and sold right on this page. The baskets ship in the plain finish.
- American Heritage: Handwoven in the USA and signed by the Amish weaver who made it. Backed by our lifetime guarantee on every basket, with free shipping on every order.
"so far has tried the strawberry jam and it is wonderful. Not too sweet, just right", Barbara wrote in 2025 of the friend she sent it to. Cynthia "wanted the Jams; which taste like my Grandmother's!" Julie: "When I showed her the signatures on the bottom of the basket, that really personalized the gift!" Afterward, Cathy's are "Beautiful keepsake baskets after the jam is gone!"
The sizes are the outside of the rim. For one gift, the Amish Jam Gift Basket; for ten empty baskets to fill yourself, the Catch-All Basket 10-Pack; for the other ten-basket sets, the Corporate Gifts page.
An Old Order Amish family weaves the baskets by hand on the Iowa-Missouri border, and an Amish cook in the same community makes the jam. The weaver signs each basket before it leaves the farm. Standard shipping is free, and rush delivery is offered at checkout when a birthday or Christmas is close. They ship gift-ready, with no prices in the box, a free gift note at checkout, and a short letter about the family who wove them. Every basket carries our lifetime guarantee.
Measures: 9" x 6" x 3" tall (set of 10)
Questions About This Basket
Built the Amish Way
Woven on Family Farms
Every basket comes from a family farm in the Heartland, where the workshop sits a few steps from the house and the craft is part of daily life.
Built to Last
The solid wood bottom is cut from furniture-grade layered birch and secured with solid brass nails. A base that will not warp, even after years of use.
Quality Materials
Hardwood poplar posts give each basket its strength, handwoven with natural wickering reed for flexibility and a look no machine can copy.
Signed by the Crafter
Every basket is personally signed by the Amish crafter who made it and arrives with a heartfelt letter from the family.
