How long does shipping take?

Standard free shipping takes 3-5 weekdays for delivery. In-stock baskets ship immediately. Rush delivery is available for $8.95 (2-4 weekdays). Special orders and custom sizes need 3-4 additional weeks before shipping.

We are not Amish ourselves, but we have been close friends with the local Amish community for over 30 years. We operate this marketplace to help four Amish families share their handcrafted baskets with you and preserve this traditional weaving craft.

How durable are these baskets?

Extremely durable. Each basket is built with a solid birch wood bottom, hardwood poplar posts, and handwoven wickering reed. They come with a lifetime guarantee. If anything ever goes wrong, we will repair or replace it.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes! Enter your message in the "Order Notes or Gift Message" box during checkout. No invoices or pricing information is included in the shipped box. Receipts go only to the buyer's email.

Do you have other colors or finishes?

Our Amish families use one standard stain color. Unfinished baskets are also available if you would like to apply your own Minwax stain. Instructions and samples come with every unfinished order.

Can I personalize my basket?

Yes! You can add a custom engraved brass plate with up to two lines of personalized text. We also offer optional basket liners in classic and pastel colors, and protective feet.

What is your return policy?

Using this washable liner will keep your basket protected and looking new for years to come. This beautiful hand-sewn liner comes complete with sewn-in elastic around the top to maintain the liner securely in place during use. This rectangle basket liner is completely handmade and comes with an inside tag that will include the signature of the Amish lady who sewed the liner. Crafted from durable, easy-care, pre-shrunk cotton broadcloth (the same material they use to make their Amish dresses). Machine washable and dryable, this liner will never need ironing. This fabric basket liner is the perfect way to protect, accent, and add even more usability to your new basket. (Basket sold separately)

NOTE: Custom Liners are sewn to your specific measurements based on your personal order. Because of the highly customized nature of this item, returns of custom sewn liners are not allowed. Thank you for understanding.
