• Lunch For Four, One Hand To Carry: 17 x 12 inches at the rim, 8 1/2 inches deep, and 15 inches to the top of the handle: the sandwiches, the fruit and the drinks for four, the potluck dish for the church supper, or the blanket and the lunch for two. Small enough that one person carries it full.
• The Hinged Lid: A two-piece wood lid hinged at the center on leather straps, so either half lifts while the other stays down and the basket opens from whichever side you are sitting on.
