This round natural trash can basket adds convenience and charm to your bathroom, and it can also be used as a peck-sized produce basket. When filled level, it holds one full peck, making it a practical option for gathering fruits and vegetables. Handcrafted from natural wicker by an Amish family in the USA, it features a sturdy wooden base and a simple design that fits any style. Measuring 9 inches in diameter and 9 1/2 inches tall, it is the smallest of the three round waste baskets and the one that fits the gap beside a vanity, a pedestal sink or a half bath where a full-size can is too much. An optional wooden lift-off lid, cut to 9 1/2 inches, is available to keep trash hidden, and a hand-sewn cotton liner in cream, wine, blue or green is optional as well; it slips over the rim on its own elastic. Protective feet and an engraved solid brass plate are optional too. More than a wastebasket, it is a durable, attractive piece signed by the Amish craftsperson who creates it. (Lid and cloth liners sold separately.)
