Wicker File BasketDecorative Hanging File Storage Box

• Handcrafted Quality: Handwoven from rattan reed over a wood bottom, with a hardwood rim riveted through the weave, made to sit flush on a desk or a shelf, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, and signed by the weaver who made it.
• The Letter-File Size: 14 x 9 inches at the rim and 11 inches tall: letter-size hanging folders ride on the rails inside, about 13 inches across, for the bills in and out, the recipes, the manuals for the house, or the papers of a cabin.
• Open Or Closed: It ships open, for the folders you reach into every day; the optional lift-off solid wood lid with a knob closes it on the shelf. It clears an 11 1/2 inch shelf without the lid.
• Measures: 14" x 9" x 11" tall. Contents not included.
• Three Trim Colors: Choose Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green. The color is woven in as dyed reed, not painted on.
• Optional Extras: A lift-off solid wood lid made for this basket, protective feet and an engraved solid brass plate are each optional and sold right on this page. The rails are built in; the basket is complete without the lid.
• American Heritage: Handwoven in the USA and signed by the Amish weaver who made it. Backed by our lifetime guarantee, with free shipping and no-questions returns on every order.

"so well made and fit my files perfectly," Samira wrote in 2021. Patricia runs several: "Several of these together make a great system. Very sturdy also." Daniel "was looking for a small file box to store my cabin's records, manuals, etc., and this fit the bill perfectly."

The lid is the choice to make. "I opted for the lid and it really completes the look. It's perfect for my files," Carla wrote in 2022; for a basket already home, the lid has its own page. Valerie keeps "favorite recipes" in hers, and Edith finds it "perfect for in and out business." The rails inside are metal and take standard letter-size hanging folders.

The sizes are the outside of the rim. For the same basket with a hinged lid, a snap and leather carry handles, the Portable File Organizer is 14 x 9 x 11 1/2; for a taller open basket beside a chair, the Slim Magazine Basket. The rest of the family is on the storage baskets page.

An Old Order Amish family weaves it by hand on the Iowa-Missouri border, in the same community as the rest of our storage baskets, and the weaver signs the bottom before it leaves the farm. Standard shipping is free, and rush delivery is offered at checkout when a birthday or Christmas is close. It ships gift-ready, with no prices in the box, a free gift note at checkout, and a short letter about the family who wove it. Like every basket we sell, it carries our lifetime guarantee, and returns are no questions asked.
