Large Tree CollarAmish Woven Wicker Basket Christmas Tree Skirt

• Handcrafted Quality: A tapered ring of rattan reed handwoven with no bottom and open on one side, closed by a leather strap with a snap, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, on a jig the family built for this one shape, and signed by the weaver who made it.
• The Wide-Stand Size: 26 to 36 inches across and 11 inches tall: the ends overlap and the strap holds the ring at the width your stand needs, for the 10 foot trees on 30 to 36 inch stands.
• On After The Tree Is Up: Stand the tree, level it, fill the stand, then open the ring, wrap it around the trunk under the lowest branches and set the strap. The water can still reaches the stand through the open top.
• Measures: 26" to 36" adjustable diameter x 11" tall; no bottom. Ships in a 20 x 20 x 12 inch box, about 6 pounds.
• Three Trim Colors: Choose Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green. The color is woven in as dyed reed, not painted on, and on the plain finish the stain takes to each piece of wood in its own way.
• Optional Extras: An engraved solid brass plate is optional and sold right on this page.
• American Heritage: Handwoven in the USA and signed by the Amish weaver who made it. Backed by our lifetime guarantee, with free shipping and no-questions returns on every order.

Susanne, in 2021, has a 10 foot tree with a 33 inch base; Stephanie has a 12 foot tree with a 42 inch base, and wrote "yours is just perfect!" Laurie's "tree is 65" wide and the stand is almost 3 ft." Denise: "No more open back, fits completely around the tree."

Barbra "ended up adjusting it twice after setting up our tree, and that flexibility was wonderful", and Ann loves "how easy it is to adjust the size and that it’s made in one piece". Janet: "We were thrilled to see the Large Tree Collar with the ultimate design in size flexibility."

For a stand of 26 inches or less, the Basket Tree Collar is the one. Between seasons it stores as it is; Barbra found "the box it came in is very sturdy so will be perfect for storing it for years to come". Both sizes are on the tree collars page; the sleigh and the fireplace basket are on the Christmas decor page.

An Old Order Amish family weaves it by hand on the Iowa-Missouri border, in the same community as the rest of our kitchen baskets, and the weaver signs the bottom before it leaves the farm. Standard shipping is free, and rush delivery is offered at checkout when a birthday or Christmas is close. It ships gift-ready, with no prices in the box, a free gift note at checkout, and a short letter about the family who wove it. Like every basket we sell, it carries our lifetime guarantee, and returns are no questions asked.
