• The Everyday Size: 17 x 9 inches at the rim and 8 1/2 inches tall: about a loaf and a half, or a loaf and the rolls, on a counter with room left for the coffee pot. Bagels, tortillas and the crackers fit as well as bread.
• The Hinged Lid: The lid lifts with one hand and stays open at 15 1/4 inches tall. The flat strip at the back of the lid stays level, a shelf for a salt cellar or a jar.
