• The Family Size: 17 x 13 inches, 7 1/4 inches deep and 15 inches to the top of the handle: a big kid's Easter basket, one two children share, or a grown-up's gift basket.
• The Handle Stays Up: The handle is fixed in place, and the 15 inches are measured to the top of it. It crosses the width of the oval, and each handle is bent on a jig made for its size. The woven basket itself is 7 1/4 inches deep.

Until 2021 this basket was sold as the Extra Large Oval Easter Basket. The size names moved down a step that year and the baskets kept their measurements, so an extra large oval bought before then is this basket. The Large Round Easter Basket is the same depth at 14 1/2 inches across, and for the most room, the Biggest Easter Basket is 20 1/2 x 15 and 8 1/4 deep. The sizes are the outside of the rim.

Each liner is sewn for one size, so choose it here, on the page for this basket; a liner ordered with the basket arrives tied in place. The engraved brass plate takes a name, a date or a short line, up to 22 characters on each of two lines, and is screwed to the front band with two small brass screws before the basket ships. A plate can also be ordered on its own later, screws included, for a basket you already have.
