Crafted from pre-shrunk, easy-care cotton broadcloth in a durable weight, this washable liner adds a layer of charm and function to your basket. It even includes a sewn-in tag signed with the name of the Amish housewife who made it, to be a heartfelt touch that connects you to the hands that crafted it. (Basket sold separately.)
Each basket’s solid wood bottom is the foundation of its lasting durability.
To guarantee strength that will not warp, even after many years, every bottom is cut from furniture-grade, ½-inch layered birch. It’s then carefully secured with solid brass nails, creating a base that’s as reliable as it is beautiful.
