This large sized Amish wicker picnic basket tote provides plenty of room to carry nearly any needed supplies on your next family adventure. The durable yet easy-to-handle rustic wood weave on this old-fashioned wicker picnic basket makes it the best choice for hundreds of uses. This empty, lidded picnic basket comes with a solid wood bottom and carrying handles so it is also perfect for taking your baked goods to family get togethers and potluck dinners. The strong western leather carrying handles make it easy to transport all your goodies and then the handles tuck neatly away for easy storage. The bottom inside measurement of this basket is 10 3/4” x 14 3/4” and the top tapers out to 14” x 17 1/2” so there is plenty of room to carry even the larger 9” x 13” pans with lids. Hand woven in the Heartland of the US and signed by the Amish crafter.

To guarantee strength that will not warp, even after many years, every bottom is cut from furniture-grade, 1/2-inch layered birch. It's then carefully secured with solid brass nails, creating a base that's as reliable as it is beautiful.

Each basket is built with hardwood poplar posts, providing strong vertical stability.
Then handwoven from wickering reed, a natural material chosen for its flexibility and strength. This combination not only gives each basket its unique look and feel, but also ensures lasting durability that can stand up to everyday use.
