This premium Amish handmade birdhouse is completely functional and will provide a secure home for small songbirds such as wrens, chickadees, titmice, and nuthatches. This handmade birdhouse is hand-woven from authentic wood materials in a vintage, Amish, decorative cottage design. The Amish families in our Old Order Amish community have been weaving the highest quality decorative wren birdhouses for over three generations and their care and attention to detail is evident in this unique vintage cottage birdhouse. While this country primitive birdhouse is fully functional, it can also make a wonderful decorative accent indoors to highlight any country, rustic decor. Each vintage cottage birdhouse is handcrafted in the Heartland of the USA and is signed by the Amish Crafter.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL BIRD HOUSE: This handmade birdhouse features the genuine, vintage Amish feature of a removable bottom that will allow you to easily clean out the old nests from the birdhouse. Simply remove the screws and you have access to the interior of the birdhouse to clean out old nests.
EXTRA NESTING-BIRD PROTECTION FEATURE: This deluxe bird house features an extra layer of wooden walls built into the inside of the woven wicker outer walls (like having an extra-protective wooden birdhouse inside the birdhouse). This is an important part of the vintage cottage birdhouse design as it provides extra security and protection for the nesting birds.
EASY MOUNTING BRACKET AVAILABLE: You can easily mount this handmade birdhouse on any pole, wall, or tree with the optional mounting bracket. Our local Amish metal shop builds the strong mounting bracket which will stand up to any weather. The mounting bracket includes the necessary mounting screws for attaching the bracket to the birdhouse so the only part you need will be the 4 screws or bolts needed to attach the bracket onto your mounting location.

BUILT TO LAST
Each basket's solid wood bottom is the foundation of its lasting durability.
To guarantee strength that will not warp, even after many years, every bottom is cut from furniture-grade, 1/2-inch layered birch. It's then carefully secured with solid brass nails, creating a base that's as reliable as it is beautiful.
QUALITY MATERIALS
Each basket is built with hardwood poplar posts, providing strong vertical stability.
Then handwoven from wickering reed, a natural material chosen for its flexibility and strength. This combination not only gives each basket its unique look and feel, but also ensures lasting durability that can stand up to everyday use.
