One of my Amish Neighbors makes very nice cedar chests in a variety of sizes.  The backs and the interiors are left unfinished to take advantage of cedar's natural ability to breathe and repel moths and other insects.  In addition to being both sturdy and attractive they are functionally great for storing your fine wool items and other things you want to keep the moths away from.
